“Amidst sensitive and feeling performances by all concerned, those of Cullison and Simmonds, as women consistently called upon to be strong for others, particularly stand out in a cast of characters who face aging, death, love, and (re)birth.”

 - R. Ziegler and Leah Richards, Thinking Theatre NYC

“Ms. Cullison offers a classic matriarch portrayal, combining tenderness, feistiness and resilience, all into a lovely performance”

-Darryl Reilly, Theater Scene

“All are in the service of Kops’ revelations about this family’s unity, inspired by the beautiful and loving mother and wife, Helen, portrayed with precision by Katharine Cullison and supported by the wounded, sensitive, poetic father and husband Paul, played by the impeccable Austin Pendleton.”

- Carol Di Tosti, NYC Skyline

“As Sandra, Katharine Cullison conveys a potent sense of foreboding. Like the lonely Laura of “The Glass Menagerie” and Maureen, the spinster of “The Beauty Queen of Leenane,” Sandra is alternately endearing and frustrating. She’s a complex character, given a stellar rendering here.”

- Ken Jaworowski for The New York Times
